Campaign Against Cataracts: Providing Cataracts Surgery in India

Mission:

With your help, SYC and the SSA are aiming to raise over $7500 to provide cataracts surgery to those in need in India throughout the month of November 2008. We are doing this through Change for Change at the University, booths at the Gurudwara as well as canvassing. The Sikh Youth of Calgary surpassed the goal of $7500 and raised a grand total of $9551!

The individuals who will receive well needed medical treatment will be grateful to everyone who helped raise awareness and fundraised for this worthy cause. The SYC volunteers have left for India to put the their efforts and funds raised to good use. They will be updating us with picture and their experiences in India.
